Dave Harvey President

Dave Harvey (D. Min – Westminster Theological Seminary) is the president of Great Commission Collective, a church planting ministry in the US, Canada and abroad. Dave pastored for 33 years, founded AmICalled.com, writes now at RevDaveHarvey.com and travels widely across networks and denominations as a popular conference speaker. He is the author of When Sinners Say “I Do," Am I Called, Rescuing Ambition, and co-authored Letting Go: Rugged Love for Wayward Souls. Dave’s recent release is titled I Still Do! Growing Closer and Stronger Through Life’s Defining Moments. Dave and his wife, Kimm, have four kids and four grandchildren and live in southwest Florida.

Amanda Carter Accounting & Project Manager

Amanda has a BS in Information System Management and Organizational Management from Colorado Christian University. After a short-term mission trip to Scotland, the Lord stirred up a hunger to use her gifts to serve the church. She began seeking a role serving the church in 2018 and soon left the marketplace to join the GCC team. She and her husband Michael have two young adult children and live in Plainfield, Indiana.

Kim Deas Administrative Assistant

Kim’s unique administrative and organizational skills hail from homeschooling her six kids the last 20+ years, serving faithfully in her local church as a Small Group’s Coach and a Kid’s Ministry Teacher, and coming alongside her husband Rob for over 20 years in full-time ministry. Married for 29 years, Kim and Rob call Brownsburg, IN home, where she loves long walks and good coffee.

Christian McNeilly Director of Church Planting

Christian McNeilly is the Director of Church Planting for the Great Commission Collective. Prior to that he served as the founding pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel Tampa Bay after helping plant Harvest Bible Chapel North Indianapolis. Christian joined the GCC team in 2018. He and his wife, Julie, live in Indianapolis with their two daughters and one son. They love time together as a family (especially if it’s outside) and time with God’s family in the local church.

Corey Schmatjen Director of International Ministries

Corey comes to GCC from serving over 18 years as pastor of Palm Vista Community Church in Miami, FL. Before joining Palm Vista, he served with staff care and mobilization for Cru, serving staff assigned to Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. While serving on the campus ministry staff at Moscow State Technical University, he helped plant Moscow Bible Church. Corey's undergrad is from the University of Redlands and London School of Economics. He has an MA in Missiology from William Carey International University and an M.Div. from SBTS. Corey and his wife have five children: CJ, Annika, Joel, Steven, and Lana.

Garrett Higbee Leader Care Specialist

Garrett Higbee, Psy.D., is Leader Care Specialist for the Great Commission Collective. Garrett is a seasoned counselor, teacher, and trainer with over 30 years of experience. He is a founding board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and a frequent conference speaker and a contributing author for several Christian counseling books. He has been married to Tammy for over 20 years and they have three children, Rachel, Zach and Sarah. They live in Indianapolis, Indiana.

John Crabtree Director of Training

John Crabtree comes to GCC following 25+ years of practical church ministry, including experience as a church planter, pastor, and coach/consultant. In addition to local church ministry, has also served in numerous C-Suite positions, as well as Dean of Global Initiatives at California Baptist University and on faculty at Crossroads Bible college. John has bachelor degrees from Purdue and Louisville, and two Masters and a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's married to Vicki. They have three adult children, eleven grandchildren.

Laura Zimmerman Director of Operations

Laura began serving, and then was hired into full time ministry in the local church in 2006. Her first role was leading and coordinating volunteer teams in 18 different outreach ministries. She then had the opportunity to step into the role of Director of Short-Term Missions, where she coordinated up to 25 mission teams per year, serving international chuches around the world. She has had the privilege of visiting churches in over 30 countries, and loves her current role, coming alongside the GCC team, and this network of churches. Laura grew up in Illinois, but now calls Indianapolis home.

Marty Duren Director of Communications

Marty has advised churches, pastors, and corporate C-Suite members on communications strategies, producing and promoting online content, and been active in producing such content through his own writing for fifteen years at martyduren.com and elsewhere. He has served in local church pastoral ministry since 1989 in lead and staff pastor roles both full-time and bi-vocationally. He's married to his dearest love Sonya, with whom he has four grown kids, two sons-in-law, and two grandsons. Marty has a BA in Pastoral Ministry and an MA in Management and Leadership.

Paul Whittingstall Canadian Regional Director

Paul Whittingstall comes to GCC with a primary focus on our churches in Canada. His ministry experience over the last 40 years has included, camps and conferences, as well as local church involvement as a staff member. Most recently he served as the Senior Pastor at Hope bible Chapel, Markham (Formerly Harvest Bible Chapel, York Region) for 11 years. The passion of his life is to lift up the name of Jesus Christ and to serve His church.

Rob Willey Chairman

Rob Willey grew up in Western Illinois, graduated from Wheaton College in 1988, then spent eleven years at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 2000, he entered full-time ministry and shortly thereafter earned a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies. He is the founding and Senior Pastor of Coram Deo Bible Church in Davenport, Iowa, and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Great Commission Collective. Rob and his wife Becky have three daughters, two sons-in-law, and a precious grandchild.

Jerry Lingenfelter

Jerry Lingenfelter is the Senior Pastor of Mission Church in Lancaster PA. He is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and Moody Theological Seminary. He and Robyn, his wife of 19 years, have an active and exciting home full of four boys. His love for Jesus and the Bible comes through in his clear, practical preaching and teaching. In addition to coaching pastors and equipping church leaders, Jerry also leads GoBeyond, a ministry that unites churches and non-profits to serve their communities and love their neighbors. Early in the morning, you can find Jerry at the gym doing CrossFit.

Robbie Symons

Robbie Symons is the Senior Pastor of Hope Bible Chapel Oakville. His greatest passion is to see Jesus Christ glorified and lives changed forever as people realize their potential only through His amazing power! In 2003 a small Bible study began and by the power and grace of the Lord, it grew from a humble group of four people to a church of over 4000 today. And through much prayer and God’s grace, Hope Oakville has seen the birth of several vibrant churches across Canada. Robbie’s radio ministry through Hope Bible Church Oakville called Live in the Light, can be heard daily throughout Southern Ontario, Western New York, and the Atlantic Provinces. He is also the author of Passion Cry: How Apathy is Killing the Church and a Passion for Christ Will Revive It. Robbie, his wife Gillian, and their four children live in Burlington, Ontario.

Ryan Hall

Ryan Hall was saved as a freshman in college. He worked as a teacher for four years and as a youth pastor for six years. Ryan and Lauren both grew up in Palos and were excited to plant a new church in their hometown. Anchor Palos launched on September 13, 2009. Ryan and Lauren have three children: Ellie, Cassie, and Jared. Ryan has his Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute.

Trent Griffith

Trent Griffith is a graduate of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. He and his wife Andrea spent fifteen years ministering in over 300 churches in North America as part of Life Action Ministries. In 2009, God led Trent to plant a church in Granger, Indiana. Gospel City Church has been a church-planting church from Day 1, and is fueling mission initiatives in West Africa and Eastern Europe and more. Trent and Andrea are speakers for Family Life’s Weekend to Remember Marriage Getaways. They live near South Bend, Indiana, and have four children.

Bob Lepine

Bob is senior vice-president of FamilyLife and cohost of FamilyLife Today®, FamilyLife’s nationally-syndicated radio program. He is the author of Love Like You Mean It: The Heart of a Marriage that Honors God and The Christian Husband. Bob also serves on the Board of Directors for National Religious Broadcasters. You might recognize his voice from “Truth for Life” with Alistair Begg. Bob and his wife, Mary Ann, live in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he also serves as an elder and teaching pastor at Redeemer Community Church.

Jeff Terrell

Jeff has served as senior pastor at Ascend Church since its launch in September of 2010. He and his wife, Sally, have been married for 22 years and are the parents of three girls: Megan, Mallory, and Macy. From professional baseball and the IT world, God called Jeff to ministry. Jeff has earned a BA from the University of Missouri, an MBA from Baker University, an MDiv from The Master’s Seminary, and is currently pursuing a DMin from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Earl Marshall Chairman

Earl Marshall is the Pastor of Discipleship and Training at Hope Bible Church Oakville. He is married to Brenda and together they share a desire to see disciples made and leaders strengthened for the Church of Jesus Christ. The Lord has graciously allowed Earl to serve the Church in Canada and around the world as a Dean, Professor, Senior Pastor, and a Trainer of church planters. All glory to God! Earl and Brenda have two adult children: Jon and Julie, and Christine and Joe. They also have five amazing grandchildren: Elle, Cadence, Josiah, Haddie, and Brooke.

Ian Hales

Ian Hales is the founding pastor of Redemption Church Durham. Ian grew up in the Durham Region and by God’s grace was given the privilege to plant Redemption Durham in 2010. God has done and continues to do great things in and through Redemption Durham for the glory of His great name. Ian’s greatest desire is to see God glorified through a passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ. His prayer is that God will use Redemption Durham to be a pillar of truth in the Durham Region—that the preaching of God’s Word would be used to see lost people saved, saved people matured, and mature people multiplied. Ian received his B.A. from York University and his Masters of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. Ian and his wife Sarah were married in 2003 and are parents to their children Karis, Joshua and Caleb.

Kaj Ballantyne

Kaj is the founding pastor of Harvest Church, a multi-location church in Muskoka, Ontario. Prior to launching Harvest Kaj spent 12 years leading a wilderness discipleship school called Summit College where he developed a passion to see people live in a community of love and grace while living radically different lives completely sold out for Jesus. Kaj and his wife Libby have three daughters: McKinley, Elianna, and Chloe.

Paul Whittingstall serves as the Canadian Regional Director of the Great Commission Collective, Canada, an international church planting movement. His ministry experience over the last 40 years has included, camps and conferences, as well as local church involvement as a staff member. Trevor Peacock

Trevor grew up in Alberta and Saskatchewan and has done ministry there for almost 20 years. He has served as a youth pastor and in September of 2010 planted Redemption Church Calgary North in Calgary, Alberta. He married his wife Heather in March of 2001 and they have two girls: Hope is 17 and Gabi is 15.
