GCC's Generous Support for Flood Relief Project Brings Comfort and Hope to India

When Odisha was hit with flooding in the fall of 2022, Siani Harpal requested financial relief to help distribute urgent food needs and provisions to the poor day laborers and farmers living in villages surrounding his ministry in Kesinga, India - and GCC answered the call.

Why It Matters: The Flood Relief Project in Odisha, India has enabled the safe establishment of good relationships with local villages and communities, while also bringing comfort and hope to those affected by the flooding. Thanks to GCC's generous support, the project has reached more than 3,000 people with the Gospel, with 163 people opening their hearts and receiving Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Dear GCC,

Greetings in Jesus name! I'd like to take this opportunity to say a word of thanks for your generous support for the flood relief . . .

Your generous support for the “Flood Relief Project” has enabled us to serve 200 families both physically and spiritually along with dry food items such as rice, dal, cooking oil, chuda, sugar, tea powder, Guda, Colgate, brush, shampoo, soap, surf, biscuits, etc... All of these people feel comfort to live by having all these benefits.

Because of this project, we have safely established good relationships with many villages’ communities and reached them with the Gospel to lead them to Christ. Due to this ministry, many souls are being saved and a good number of churches are being established.

Through this project, the Gospel has reached more than 3000 people and 163 people opened their hearts and received Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour -- and 72 have been baptized . ..

Once again I thank you for your great heart and kind support. We pray that God will continue to bless GCC to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ in India and in world. God bless!!!
