Andy Snider: Bible Centered vs. Gospel Centered
In this episode, Bob Lepine interviews Andy Snider about the difference between being Bible Centered and Gospel Centered. Being Gospel Centered does not mean neglecting to preach the Bible; quite the opposite. When we talk about being Gospel-focused or Gospel Centered or preaching the Gospel on Sunday, we are talking about something that is more expansive than just an altar call and an invitation
"We're preaching the whole counsel of God, and it's focused through the lens of the good news that Jesus is Lord and that redemption has been accomplished through Him. So we preach that's the good news that we need to hear every single week and then be exhorted to live accordingly, to be comforted by that good news." - Andy Snider
Andy Snider has master's and doctoral degrees in systematic theology from The Master’s Seminary, where he also served as a professor for 11 years. After an additional 2 years of teaching at BMA Theological Seminary, he was led by the Lord into full-time pastoral ministry at Radiant Church. He is married to the amazing Pam Snider, and together they have three grown daughters and six grandchildren.
